Warm Geode is a rock trinket added in The Reheated Update.

Effects

• +3 damage and +0.20 shot speed when standing close to a Fire Place.
• +1.5 damage and +0.20 shot speed when on the following "warm" floors:
  • Burning Basement
  • Mines
  • Ashpit
• Geode Bonus: Increases the damage bonus when standing next to a Fire Place to +5, and grants a chance to fire a tear that burns enemies. This chance does not scale with luck.

Notes

• The damage and shot speed buff from being near Fire Place does not change depending on the type of fire (ie. a Blue Fire Place still grants the same buff).
• The damage and shot speed buff from being near Fire Place overrides the buff provided by warm floors.
• The "warm floor" bonus does not work in The Void or in Super Secret Rooms while the backdrop is of the Burning Basement, Mines, or Ashpit.

Interactions

• The Candle / Red Candle / Hot Bombs: Standing next to the flames produced by these items will provide the warmth bonus.
• Trinket Multipliers / Henge Rock: Multiplies the final damage and shot speed bonus by the trinket multiplier. Shot speed bonus is capped at 0.4 at a trinket multiplier of 2.
• Second Hand: If Warm Geode's Geode Bonus is active, it will increase the duration of the burning, based on Second Hand's own trinket multiplier.
• Azurite Spindown: Using Azurite Spindown on Warm Geode rerolls it into Placebeode.
